Hindu Ethics is one which in its whole range has not so far been submitted to scientific investigation, though many writers have dealt with aspects of Hindu ethical teaching, and studies of Hindu religion have generally involved some consideration of the bearings of religious doctrine on the moral life. The attempt is here made to fix attention more definitely on the ethical side of Hindu teaching.
