He currently serves as an accreditation consultant and trains for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health in the areas of law and ethics and clinical supervision. Jeanne E. Manese, Ph.D., received her doctorate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a specialization in counseling psychology. She completed a master's degree in education from Harvard University. Dr. Manese is a practitioner-scholar-consultant and has served as director of the Counseling Center at the University of California, Irvine for over a decade. In addition to supervision and training, her practice and research interests include working with individuals with chronic illnesses, first generation college students, and Asian and Pacific Islander populations.
