In the field of mechanical engineering, steam turbine fault diagnosis is a difficult task for mechanical engineers who are confronted with challenges in dealing with copious amounts of uncertain information.
In plenty of realistic situations, multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) is ubiquitous and significant in daily activities of individuals and organizations. Among diverse tools for coping with MAGDM, granular computing-based approaches constitute a series of viable and efficient theories by means of multi-view problem solving strategies. In this paper, in order to handle MAGDM issues with interval-valued neutrosophic (IN) information, we adopt one of the granular computing (GrC)-based approaches, known as multigranulation probabilistic models, to address IN MAGDM problems.
In real-world diagnostic procedures, due to the limitation of human cognitive competence, a medical expert may not conveniently use some crisp numbers to express the diagnostic information, and plenty of research has indicated that generalized fuzzy numbers play a significant role in describing complex diagnostic information.
In this paper, we define the disjunctive sum, difference and Cartesian product of two interval valued neutrosophic sets and study their basic properties. The notions of the (a, β, g) interval cut set of interval valued neutrosophic sets and the (a, β, g) strong interval cut set of interval valued neutrosophic sets are put forward. Some related properties have been established with proof, examples and counter examples.
