Alpha Blue was a Federation space station for the study of sexual addiction and rehabilitation of its clientele. That was back in the good old days when enjoying sex was for deviants. Behavioral psychologists believed that stimulus overload would cure addictive personality disorder. Simply, give those hopeless degenerates what they crave... seven-fold! And pretty soon, their obsession will burn itself out.It was years before those kinds of theories were debunked and said behavioral psychologists were rounded up with the rest of humanity's failures and blasted into the nearest star. Now decommissioned, Alpha Blue is something akin to an interstellar whore house or "love boat", drifting from planet to planet, acquiring new talent, clients, and security. It's as big as a city, so there's no shortage of wild escapades, interesting characters, lucrative opportunities, and naked throbbing pleasure. Plus, there will be plenty of scenario seeds fleshed out for planet-side shenanigans. Aside from my imagination, I'll be relying on classic sci-fi TV and film inspiration to see my through... such as Blake's 7, (vintage) Doctor Who and Star Trek, Star Wars, Ice Pirates, Heavy Metal, Thundarr the Barbarian, Starchaser: the Legend of Orin, Flash Gordon, Blade Runner, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, Dune, Saturn 3, Woody Allen's Sleeper, and a dozen more.Contact me at Venger's old school gaming blog for high-resolution Alpha Blue maps... the space station and starship skematics.

To An Untrained Mind is a collection of short stories, poems and articles by Robert N Stephenson. These are works written over a 20 year period and have never before been seen, or published. These are imperfect appearances, there are faults with them all, from spellings to typos, from accidents in science and the limitations of knowledge. This book was not created to wow the reader with its prowess but more created to warehouse decades of material. If you have a copy, then you do indeed have a rare bird. Like the old Saab's Robert loves to own and drive, this book is also limited. Severe mental illness has distorted some visions and limited some expressions but never let you be controlled by such conditions, rather take control of them and thrive. The cover for this volume of imperfections is by the incomparable Conny Valentina and inside the image is another story. Rejoice in discovery, and forgive in measure.

"Mixing everything that's best about dragons, dystopia, and generational conflict, Tang delivers a high flying debut that pulls no punches." --E.K. Johnston, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Things just got weird for Prudence Wu. One minute, she's cashing in on a routine smuggling deal. The next, she's escaping enforcers on the wings of what very much appears to be a sentient cybernetic dragon. Pru is used to life throwing her some unpleasant surprises--she goes to prep school, after all, and selling banned media across the border in a country with a ruthless corporate government obviously has its risks. But a cybernetic dragon? That's new. She tries to forget about the fact that the only reason she's not in jail is because some sort of robot saved her, and that she's going to have to get a new side job now that enforcers are on to her. So she's not exactly thrilled when Rebelwing shows up again. Even worse, it's become increasingly clear that the rogue machine has imprinted on her permanently, which means she'd better figure out this whole piloting-a-dragon thing--fast. Because Rebelwing just happens to be the ridiculously expensive weapon her government needs in a brewing war with its neighbor, and Pru's the only one who can fly it. Set in a wonderfully inventive near-future Washington, D.C., this hilarious, defiant debut sparkles with wit and wisdom, deftly exploring media consumption, personal freedoms, and the weight of one life as Pru, rather reluctantly, takes to the skies.

With the introduction of Russian SAM missles (surface to air missles) in the middle 1960;s, the US started to lose an excessive amount of aircraft and crews during bombing raids over North Vietnam. In 1969 the CIA developed a radar system that could alert the aircraft crew when A SAM was locked on their plane. Located in a perfect location high in the mountains of Laos and close to the North Vietnam border. When it was operational, the site would lock in on the missle fired and would alert the targeted aircraft. They would then have enough time to take evasive action. Aircraft losses were cut by 75 percent when the site was operational. All of a sudden the site is attacked and overrun by a Division of North Vietnamese. On one of the bodies was a map showung the exact location mof the radar site. Only 4 people knew the exact location. The president, the Secretary of State the Ambassador to South Vietnam and Burt Courage. Some one betrayed the US and gave the location to our enemies. It had to be one of the four Americans.
