DOWNLOAD EBOOKChemistry, Manufacture and Applications of Natural Rubber, Second Edition presents the latest advances in the processing, properties and advanced applications of natural rubber (NR), drawing on state-of-the-art research in the field. Chapters cover manufacturing, processing and properties of natural rubber, describing biosynthesis, vulcanization for improved performance, strain-induced crystallization, self-reinforcement, rheology and mechanochemistry for processing, computer simulation of properties, scattering techniques and stabilizing agents. Applications covered include natural rubber, carbon allotropes, eco-friendly soft bio-composites using NR matrices and marine products, the use of NR for high functionality such as shape memory, NR for the tire industry, and natural rubber latex with advanced applications. This is an essential resource for academic researchers, scientists and (post)graduate students in rubber science, polymer science, materials science and engineering, and chemistry. In industry, this book enables professionals, R&D, and producers across the natural rubber, tire, rubber and elastomer industries, as well as across industries looking to use natural rubber products, to understand and utilize natural rubber for cutting-edge applications. - Explains the latest manufacture and processing techniques for natural rubber (NR) with enhanced properties - Explores novel applications of natural rubber across a range of industries, including current and potential uses - Discusses resources and utilization, and considers sustainable future development of natural rubber

DOWNLOAD EBOOKNo other book on natural rubber covers such a broad spectrum of subjects as this unique publication. Subjects related to the biology, cultivation and technology of natural rubber are dealt with, along with such important aspects as its history, production and processing, through to its sophisticated engineering applications. Every chapter follows a monograph style of presentation, with comprehensive citations and depth of treatment. Contributions from highly experienced, and still active, renowned scientists reflect the truly international effort to the development of this commodity. In addition to the wealth of information presented, most of the chapters contain elaborate lists of earlier contributions in the respective fields; one chapter each has been included on rubber wood, ancillary products and guayule.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKZusammenfassung: This is an open access book. It is my great pleasure to introduce the Proceedings of the International Conference on Governance, Management, Social Sciences, Education and Innovation (ICGMSI2023). The event was held at UST Angelicum College, Manila, Philippines on 20th - 21st September 2023. The conference convenes researchers, scientists, academics, and practitioners from various nations to facilitate conversations and debates on pertinent problems, opportunities, challenges, and research discoveries. It is one of its significant and valuable features. Building worldwide relationships and offering participants a fantastic venue to share and exchange outstanding original research findings and creative ideas are the main goals of ICGMSI2023. In the fields of governance, management, social sciences, education and innovation, we live up to our pledge of contributing to the development of a positive outlook. A total of 13 submissions including authors from Malaysia, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and other countries were approved as full papers for publication and presentation in ICGMSI2023. These papers offer excellent illustrations of recent research on pertinent subjects, such as governance, management, social sciences, innovation and education, among others. I express my gratitude to the authors for presenting the conference and contributing their knowledge and research findings to this occasion. We will be able to develop and clear the path for the future of governance, management, social sciences, education, innovation and related fields with their vision, contributions, and involvement. They are the best players and assets available now and in the future. The authors and delegates had a great time during their visit to Manila in the Philippines and that ICGMSI2023 was fascinating, thrilling, and motivating. We would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the reviewers who assisted us in maintaining the high caliber of the manuscripts published in the ICMGSI Proceedings. We also sincerely thank the organising staff and conference committee members for their tireless efforts

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis book is open access under a CC BY-NC-ND license. This volume analyzes the economic, social, and political challenges that emerging states confront today. Notwithstanding the growing importance of the ‘emerging states’ in global affairs and governance, many problems requiring immediate solutions have emerged at home largely as a consequence of the rapid economic development and associated sociopolitical changes. The middle-income trap is a major economic challenge faced by emerging states. This volume regards interest coordination for technological upgrading as crucial to avoid the trap and examines how various emerging states are grappling with this challenge by fostering public-private cooperation, voluntary associations of market players, and/or social networks. Social disparity is another serious problem. It is deeply rooted in history in the emerging states such as South Africa and many Latin American countries. However, income distribution is recently deteriorating even in East Asia that was once praised for its high economic growth with equity. Increasing pressure for political opening is another challenge for emerging states. This volume argues that the economic, social, and political problems are interwoven in the sense that the emerging states need to build political consensus in order to tackle the economic and social difficulties. Democratic institutions have not always been successful in this respect.
