If you are a Christian, you don t expect to hear this on the Day of Judgement: You missed the boat. All you did was use Me to make yourselves important. You don t impress Me one bit. You re out of here. - God (Matthew7:23) Might God say this to YOU? The Bible describes many of today s believers as good-for-nothing Christians (Titus 1:10,16). Many Protestants have strayed far from the heart of true Christianity they have it all wrong ascribing to customary yet incorrect beliefs. Consequently, Christianity has been reduced to little more than folklore each generation passing down to the next Biblically unfounded principles which are accepted as doctrine. This Manifesto asserts that such actions as protesting in front of abortion clinics, campaigning against gay rights, and judging those outside of the Christian faith are not Christ-like behaviors. We were not created for this purpose. This progressive and thoroughly researched manifesto is piercing, but enlightening and describes what it really takes to live a Christ-pleasing life. Challenging many traditional Christian views, this book promotes love, acceptance, and grace; and encourages a paradigm shift in Protestant thinking. In The Manifesto you will learn: 1.What Christians believe 2.The authentic Christian s true purpose 3.What Christians have been doing wrong for so long Dr. T.F. Lewis is a board-certified physician, and the child of two Christian pastors. She lives in Orlando, Florida with her spouse and darling little daughter, Kallie. Lady Wisdom Publishing, 300 N. Each year a billion dollars is spent on church buildings in the United States. Yet there is no authoritative book available to guide building committees, ministers, and others responsible for new churches in the theological implications of their work. Dr. White explores the theological and historical considerations relevant to building for Protestant worship. Surprisingly, these are often ignored by building committees, usually with disastrous results. His approach is highly original, especially in his theological treatment of worship; yet his book is also a operative in the largest sense, in that it relates theology to practice. Professor White begins with a critical analysis of contemporary concepts of Protestant worship and then defines the liturgical factors in church design. Following this, there are four chapters giving an historical account of various experiments from the third century to the present. This section indicates the tremendous variety of possibilities open to the church builder, many of which have been ignored too long. A final chapter deals with emotive factors - all vitally relevant to the architect: choir, liturgical art, and style. The opportunity to design a new church building occurs only once or twice in each generation of church members. It is all the more important that it be done carefully since the building will continue to affect the life of the congregation for many years. Until fundamental questions as to what the Church is and what the Church does in worship are raised, a congregation is not prepared to build. This book will help churches find the answers. The 155-item bibliography should be of value to many since a recent extensive bibliography on Protestant church architecture does not exist. This book also contains 60 diagrams of experiments in plan garnered from nearly 2000 years of history.

In Our Program, Abraham Kuyper presents a Christian alternative to the secular politics of his day. At that time, the church and state were closely tied, with one usually controlling the other. But Kuyper's political framework showed how the church and state could engage with each other while remaining separate. His insights, though specific to his time and place, remain highly relevant to Christians involved in the political sphere today. This new translation of Our Program, created in partnership with the Kuyper Translation Society and the Acton Institute, is part of a major series of new translations of Kuyper's most important writings. The Abraham Kuyper Collected Works in Public Theology marks a historic moment in Kuyper studies, aimed at deepening and enriching the church's development of public theology.

The world needs a new kind of Christian church. Author Jon Post Windness proposes that this church will combine the life-changing piety of evangelical Protestantism with the modern epistemology and cosmology of mainline Protestantism. Manifesto for the Abundant Life Church presents the purposes and principles of this innovative doctrine. Taking on the role of reformer, Windness seeks to restructure Protestantism itself and believes that there are two fundamental problems in Protestantism today. The first is failure to facilitate abundant life, and the second is failure to hold reasonable beliefs. Through a series of essays, Windness provides answers to perplexing and difficult questions involving these issues, including what constitutes "abundant life" and if religion is simply a matter of the heart. He also takes an in-depth look at what comprises reasonable beliefs regarding: God's revelation Authority of the Bible and of the church Nature and attributes of God Miracles, morality, and ethics The problem of evil Windness presents the philosophical and theological underpinnings for an ideal, modern Christian church. Benefit from his wisdom and change your life and your house of worship with Manifesto for the Abundant Life Church.
