In 1977, an RUC police officer pulled the trigger of a gun at the head of eighteen-year-old Mary Lynch. In that moment, she believed that this was the end. Bracing herself for the explosion, she felt something move out of her body, then from above watched her life unfold. Feeling totally at one with the entire universe, she was ready to go, happy to move on, but it wasn’t her time.
