From it, she distilled Six Intimacy Skills—woman-centric practices that ended her overwhelm and resentment, restoring the playfulness and passion in her marriage. Now an internationally-recognized relationship coach, Doyle has shared her secrets with women around the globe, saving thousands of marriages with her fresh, revolutionary approach. Maybe the problem is that nobody ever taught you the skills you need to foster respect, tenderness, and consideration. With humor and heart, The Empowered Wife shows you how to improve your relationship in ways you hadn't thought possible. You'll join a worldwide community of over 150,000 empowered wives who finally have the marriages they dreamed of when they said "I do."

There are two sides to every breakup. Lucy had no clue that her husband of sixteen years was about to bolt. Now she's dealing with shock, loneliness, and girlfriends who alternately pity her and provoke her. She also-unbelievably-is apparently competing with her own teenage daughter for a new man's attention. Trent pictured freedom, self-discovery...and maybe some sex with actual passion. So far, he's mostly watching hockey in a hotel room and wondering what's next. Being middle-aged and married isn't easy. The jury's still out on being middle-aged and single... There are two sides to every breakup. In this witty, heartfelt novel, Robyn Harding explores them both-and takes us on a journey through the end of a marriage and the beginning of something new...which may or may not be something old too.

When How to Survive Your Husband's Midlife Crisis was published in 2003, one of the most common questions I heard from men on the Midlife Club forum was "when is the book for surviving your wife's crisis coming out?" Men at book signings asked the same question. The reality is, there are a lot of books available that discuss female menopause and aging and any man who really wants to understand why his wife may be acting the way she is can find the answers if he wants to dig for them. Dealing with a wife in crisis isn't easy. A man needs quick answers even if the situation itself can't be resolved quickly. This book will provide some quick answers without going into a lot of details as to how those answers came about. For those men who need more in-depth reading, I've included a list of books and websites that may be of interest. The stories in this book are real and I am very grateful to the men who have agreed to let their stories be told so that readers may learn from their successes as well as their mistakes. Even though some of the stories end in divorce, they do not all have unhappy endings for the men who live them. It's important to have a woman's point - so I have included some of the advice from women on the forum. I've also included celebrity quotes throughout the book.
