I greet you in the name of our Lord. God had a plan for me. Though I pondered, he still made preparations and gives confirmation. I had no idea where or how to start, but God already had it in his plan. He had given me the tools; I just needed to open the toolbox. I found my pen (screwdriver) and the hammer (scriptures). Women Worshipping God While Wounded was birth through women that have been through the storm and came out with fascinating, stimulating, and encouraging testimonies and stories of purpose. Its not about me or you, but its his plan that will prevail. No matter what your leaking issues are (spiritual warfare, the marriage on the verge of breaking up, that man that left you, the friend that looked the other way, being the victim), give them to God. Dont give up on your dreams, goals, or visions, and when God brings you out, share the good news. Get some new friends (Deborah, a renowned prophetess and judge, the woman God used, or Esther, the woman who saved the Jews). Your background does not determine what God can do with you. God never forgets our labor of love (like Ruth, who was loyal to Naomi and faithful to God). Dont live your life as the world turns on the edge of night. May the grace of God push you into your next destiny.

Imploding relationships, incapacitating losses, injurious personal mistakes, or spiritual failures—whatever the issue, the wounds are the same. Whether it’s a lapse in judgment by Bathsheba or the moral failure of the women’s ministry leader in your local church; the spiritual insensitivity of Martha or the compulsive obsessions of your church’s care circle chairwoman; the terror of an abandoned single mother like Hagar or the struggling single mother in your prayer group—the time and circumstances are different, but the wounds are equally deep and spiritually devastating. Dena Dyer and Tina Samples get it. They have their own stories of pain before healing—along with similar experiences of their families and friends. Offering more than pat affirmations or vicarious shoulders to cry on, Dena and Tina delve deep into the shared emotions and injuries that women of all ages have in common—and move readers toward the recovery and healing that only God can provide. No matter what hurts you’ve experienced, Wounded Women of the Bible proves that God understands and that healing is not only His intention but His delight! This is a book not to be missed!

In the midst of so much pain and wounds in the world today, of which women are not spared, is the voice of God, saying out loud, "Let me heal you." While some wounds and pains are the result of what others did to us, some are self-inflicted. However the wounds come, they will get healed if we are willing to be healed. Our wounds and pains don't bring God joy. He hates it when we are being verbally, psychologically, physically, mentally, or emotionally abused. He is so concerned about us. Hebrews 4:15 says, "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses." God's will is for us to be in good health, be prosperous, and have a good relationship with him. It is almost impossible to go through life without having your moment of pain. What you do in such situations, how you react to those circumstances, matter. Will you, like some, resort to alcohol, sex, drugs, or other social vices to "ease" your pain? Or will you handle the pain the right way? This book will lead you to God's healing!

The body of Christ is full of people who have been wounded by Christians or the church. Author Dr. Angela Corprew-Boyd helps the hurting recognize they are not alone and provides them with wisdom and knowledge to reach out to Christ and receive deliverance from wounds that have made them bitter, resentful, and less effective in ministry. Church leaders and laypeople will benefit from Dr. Corprew-Boyd’s testimony and teaching. Once crippled by wounds inflicted by her pastor and trusted members of her church family, the author describes how she found healing and offers words of comfort and practical advice for readers grappling with their own church hurt. She emphasizes the importance of acknowledgement, reaching out to God, and, finally, forgiveness of others and oneself. Her message serves as a crucial reminder that there is hope for the future in spite of what our adversaries have said and done. Topics covered include the many possible sources of church hurt, how to recognize when a wound is still open, how woundedness can be transferred to church members, and the process of healing.

Our churches are emptying. Could it be because of wounding? Many people leave and don't look back because of being wounded by wounded people. Rank is no determinant of healing as wounding affects all levels and ages. Hurtful words, interactions, and behaviors are often due to unhealed emotional wounds. Jesus is concerned about the sheep that are runaway and those who stay in an unhealed condition, wounding others. The church cannot minister victory to others effectively if it is sick emotionally. To this end, Desiree has turned the lights on in hopes of facilitating victorious healing in the body of Christ. Let this book start the conversation and the healing that we might truly reflect victory and enjoy true unity and fellowship.

From Moses to Jesus, so many heroes of the Bible had to endure some type of wilderness season in their life, a time of testing that was painful to endure but ultimately brought glory to God. In Wilderness Skills for Women, rising author/speaker Marian Jordan sees the same thing happening today as she and her friends still find themselves going through periods of isolation, temptation, sorrow, and waiting. Whether it’s relationship drama, the constant pull of our sinful nature, a health issue, or any variety of unmet dreams, Jordan turns readers to God’s Word as the ultimate wilderness survival guide. Conversational and self-deprecatingly confessional in her delivery, this young writer finds ways to have fun with delicate subject matters, using wilderness analogies to great effect in chapters titled "Drink Plenty of Water," "Seek Shelter," and "Don’t Eat the Red Berries."

As I look around day after day at the body of Christ as a whole, many members but one body of Christ, my spirit is grieved. Pastor, teacher, preacher, Christian leaderour leaders are becoming weary, and they are no longer walking in the strong faith they once walked in. Day after day, I am face-to-face with yet another weary, wounded believer who is willing to quit and give up rather than get to the secret of the matter at hand. I have found myself teaching, preaching to another with a wounded, broken heart while my heart was bleeding worse than the one whom I was helping. I found depressionwhatever pressed you could name, I was connected to it. Just down and out, I could not even get out of bed for weeks at a time. All I wanted to do was to help others become healed of their wounded issues while I was covering up, still in fragments myself. I see so many wounded leaders in charge of so many souls who are hurting and needing Gods help to make them wholethey are hurting and wounded themselves. A question of our covered-up, wounded heart that my spiritual radar tuned into is, whom do we as spiritual leaders turn to when we are wounded and bleeding from our issues? I hear over and over from spiritual leaders: whom do we talk to when we find ourselves, as Paul puts it, in trouble on every side, case down, perplexed, and even persecuted who do we turn to? What step or tools does a leader who shepherds over many souls have to use to express in daily life how not to feel distressed, despair, forsaken or destroyed? How can you and I as leaders help a wounded Christian in the need to be made whole when we ourselves are still in fragments: uncompleted, fragile, easily broken, broken in many pieces, not all together ourselves? I have learned over the years as a spiritual leader that we have learned how to covered up our wounds well; we have learned to cover up our pain and hurt that were afflicted upon us by
