Is there a good reason to study the doctrine of God? Knowing God, or not knowing God, has eternal consequences to it. The Savior came to explain the Father (John 1:18) and he said that eternal life is knowing God and knowing Jesus Christ whom God sent (John 17:3). He ends with a concluding chapter on how the Christian should always be rejoicing in God’s majesty.
