DOWNLOAD EBOOKHow many times have you picked up a book, looked into its pages and discovered it was full of violence or sex. So you put it back on the shelf and remain disappointed with today's literature. You won't have that experience with my books, and particularly with the Wendy Trotter book you hold in your hand. As a writer of Christian literature I have made it a policy to intermingle the values we treasure with the story line. Wendy Trotter is a somewhat typical teenager who is very much devoted to her church and her Lord. Her mentor, a Pastor Zem, has a class of teenage boys and girls that he instructs in the eternal verities. Everyone knows one can't shut out the world from one's life. It keeps intruding, as it does in Wendy Trotter's world. But unlike most girls her age, Wendy faces the problems that arise with the indomitable faith of a Christian, a faith that says there is nothing that God can't do. Nothing is impossible with God. Pastor Zem remains an inscrutable purveyor of Truth and is always there to remind Wendy of the Bible Truth that can solve any problem we face. Even in the face of the Devil and his cohorts, Wendy Trotter and Pastor Zem hold high the Cross and frustrate the witches and the warlocks. Some of Old Scratch's followers wind up in the church. And there we see the age-old conflict of Christ versus the Antichrist.I enjoyed bringing Wendy Trotter to a wide audience through Trafford Publishing, and I hope that you will not only enjoy it, but pass the word to your friends, that there is now a new Christian genre in literature that they may enjoy as well. And may this book be a blessing to you and yours, Winston Rice June 2002
