This EOW code states when water treatment residuals becomes a resource and any relevant requirements and/or conditions for its use. If the resource is not being used in accordance with the relevant requirement sand/or conditions of this EOW code, or another type of permit that allows for its use, it is considered a waste under section 13 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EP Act) and must be disposed of appropriately at a facility that is lawfully able to receive the waste. -- Summary.
