The facility shall be built on the west side of the football practice field in the central zone of the campus. The site is bounded by the Acosta Athletic Training Complex to the north, the football practice field (Spaulding Field) to the east, Strathmore Place to the south, and the Pauley service road to the west. The Project shall comply with the University of California Policy on Sustainable Practices and designed to achieve a LEEDTM NC gold certification. The facility shall comprise three levels and a basement. The upper levels shall accommodate a public lobby, players' training facility, coaches/staff lockers, stepped auditorium, position training rooms, players' lounge; offices for coaches, recruiting and administrative staff. The basement level shall accommodate players' lockers, an equipment room and a hydrotherapy/training facility. A loading dock at the basement level shall be built on the south end of the building with service vehicle access from the Pauley service road. Space shall be provided to display the history of UCLA football throughout the building--UCLA Capital Programs website.
