History of the Order Portions of the Novena Manual discuss the founding of the Order of the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood. Finally the combined authority of the Archbishop of Montreal and Pope Leo XIII approved the world-wide Institute of the Sisters Adorers of the Most Precious Blood. Today the Institute is composed of 17 autonomous Monasteries of the Precious Blood in the United States, Canada and Japan.
