We all want to know what we are and why we are here. What is the origin and purpose of our life? We all want to be free, but what is real freedom? Is it license or anarchy? We study hard to find the truth about this world, but is there no Designer or no real cause of this universe? Where can we get reliable knowledge about life, love, right and wrong, and even life after death? If there is no one in charge of the universe is there any meaning to it? Morals are always changing, some think, but is there no absolute moral standard? True love is a wonderful thing, but what is it? We would like to know true and changeless love. Have you ever seen Jesus Christ as the fountain of true love and hope? Jesus made many startling claims about Himself. Have you checked to see if they are true? The millions of lives which have been transformed by Christ speak to us daily. Gene W. Spear was born on a Kansas farm in 1927. Tsotsil-Maya elder, curer, singer, and artist Maruch Méndez Pérez began learning about birds as a young shepherdess climbing trees and raiding nests for eggs to satisfy her endless hunger. As she grew into womanhood and apprenticed herself to older women as a curer and seer, the natural history of birds she learned so roughly as a child expanded to include ancestral Maya beliefs about birds as channels of communication with deities in the spirit world who had dominion over human lives. In these testimonies dictated to her lifelong friend, anthropologist Diane Rus, Méndez Pérez describes her years of dreams, instruction, and experience, a narrative that sheds light on the basic values of her Chamula culture and cosmovision and that has remarkable parallels to concepts of the ancient Maya as interpreted by scholars.

An ecologist observes the behavior of the bluebirds, The geologist exams the distribution of fossils, A chemist observes the rate of chemical reactions at various temperatures and pressures, A biologist observes the reactions of tissue in the presence of various stimulants, The meteorologist is one that studies the atmosphere and focuses on weather. The prediction of local, national or international weather helps us plan activities from playing outdoor tennis, rescheduling the weekend beach party or whether to expect flight delays. Knowing the daily weather around us can help us decide the best garments for the day or the proper equipment we may need such as an umbrella, boots or wool scarf. It is amazing how we study other planets, solar systems, come to the aid of other countries and their wars, but no one seems to take an interest in the undisputed climate changes happening within the Kingdom of God. Our entire earth as we know it today is experiencing what is called Global Warming. Global Warming is occurring because of human behavior and their activities. Let us now consider the behavior and activities surrounding Kingdom dwellers as they too may be the direct result of Kingdom Warming.

DescriptionFollowing the success of John's debut collection "Like a Fine Piece of China," this second collection sees a mind returning to full "normality," after a massive mental breakdown. We see an author finding his feet again, and notice a much more positive approach to the daily grind. About the AuthorBorn in Cappamore, Co. Limerick, Ireland, in 1947, John has experienced mental health issues and been through the system, since a savage sexual assault in the workplace 6 years ago. One thing's for sure: writing was the one constant in an otherwise very inconstant series of experiences; John found the discipline of writing to be very therapeutic indeed, and is writing to this day.
