The Music That Gave Me A Voice is a wonderful story to help teach a powerful lesson about how many life situations can happen, and change you for the better, or worse. This is all based on my true story about how music made a positive impact on my life through the wonderful times, and the hard times I went through during my teenage years in high school.
Music is the key to helping me succeed in my life. If it weren't for helping those who have special needs by using music as a way to cope with life, I wouldn't be who I am today, and I wouldn't be going to school. Music is the key to find your happiness, and hope in your life.
We all sing with the same voice, And we sing in harmony! The familiar words to this joyful song combine with vibrant illustrations to celebrate the idea that no matter where children live, what they look like, or what they do, they're all the same where it counts -- at heart. "We All Sing with the Same Voice" was aired and continues to be seen on Sesame Street, the celebrated educational children's television show produced by Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization. Paul Meisel is the illustrator of many popular books for children, including how to talk to your cat by Jean Craighead George.
This collection of country lyrics was compiled over a twenty-year span. I wrote them, and filed them away. Finally found time to create this book in the hope that someday one of our super-star country performers comes across these meaningful compositions and actually records one of them!!! Expert, practical help for women who preach or lead worship Many women preachers and worship leaders have trouble speaking; they struggle to fully use their physical voices. Maintaining that there is often a disconnect between the woman's self-understanding as a preacher and her own body, Nancy Lammers Gross presents not only techniques but also a theologically empowering paradigm shift to help women fully embody their God-given preaching vocations. Grounding her work in the biblical story of Miriam, Gross begins with a discussion of how women are instrumental in the work of God. She then tells stories, including her own, of women's experiences in losing connection to their bodies and their physical voices. Finally, Gross presents a constructive resolution with exercises for discovering and developing a full-body voice.
