Carl Ewald (born October 15, 1856 at Bredelykke in Gram in Schleswig, died February 23, 1908) was a Danish author, best known for his Darwinist- inspired art adventures on nature. After working as a journalist at a local newspaper in Svendborg, he settled down as a freelance journalist in Copenhagen .
