The second part of the book describes the project to raise the vessel and recover the gold on board. This was filmed as it was done and this book appears to be intended to promote the film when it appeared in American movie theaters, as bound at the front is a coupon for one free admission to the movie. While totally undated the book seems, from internal evidence, to have been published in 1927.
