Soon after seven o'clock, the meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Hon. Henry Wilson, of Massachusetts. Prayer was offered by Rev. Mr. Orcutt, of New Jersey. Alter which the Chairman addressed the meeting as follows: Address Of Hon. Henry Wilson, Of Massachusetts. adies And Gentlemen - Several members of the Senate and House of Representatives, mindful of the measureless evils and sorrows of intemperance, have formed a society, in which we have pledged each to the other, and all to country nnd to God, to put from us forever the fatal cup of intoxication.
