In the continuing saga, Bruce and Wallace develop into powerful young men, with their lives touching briefly at intervals as each fight the demons within. Wallace is forced by the father Bruce to fight under his flag at a tournament at Lochmaben Castle. Wallace's success brings angry words from Edward, King of England, but the tourmament introduces Wallace to Marion Braidfute, his future wife. Wallace further aggravates the English King as he attempts to stir rebellion against English oppression. David Seton, in a strange chain of events, saves the King's life and is knighted fot it, and inherits Castle Kelk. It is this strange Yorkshire castle his relationship with Christina Bruce, now married to Gartnait of Mar, develops further. Robert Bruce, the younger, runs foul of John "the Red" Comyn on several occasions in disputes over land and property, and the succession rights to the Throne of Scotland. Morag spends time in distant Caithness and escapes capture with the aid of a giant eagle. But all events are over-shadowed with English Edward's annihilation of the town and citizens of Berwick in a savage display of bestiality.

What Happened to the Teachers Pet? was written as an inspirational tool to motivate teachers to teach from a perspective of passion for overall student success. Too often, society is allowed to dictate the state of our students and cast blame for substandard performance and failure onto the students, their choices, or their abilities. This book addresses the concept of that attitude which actually does reflect leadership. It points out the truth that lies behind our students so-called problems and discredits some typically misguided reasons why students cannot or will not learn. All in all, this book is dedicated to encourage teachers to teach like they mean it and believe in themselves.

The narration of the teenager is about young Morris who lived with loving parents and good neighbors. Both the parents and the good neighbors were concerned about proper up bringing of young people. His parents lived by example because children learn by example. They taught him etiquette and good manners and values of a good society. The good neighbors organized a symposium to promote virtue among young people. Consequently, Morris grew up a good son. This book is timely in our society when family virtues have been under serious attack by high rate of divorces and long hours spent in the office or outside the home by parents. These have contributed in depriving our young people of love and care, and has left some of them disillusioned, confused, and hungering for attention. The Teenager attempts to draw our attention to the good son, Morris, who was a product of dedicated loving parents and caring and concerned neighbors. It is also educational, instructional, and fun to read. Young people will see themselves in the characters of this book. Parents, guardians, teachers, foster parents, neighbors, and all that read it will see that young people need their help as they grow. Truly, it takes a village to raise a child.
