Have you ever tried to find the beginning or end of a tightly wound ball of yarn? I have. Writing this book has been a similar experience. My poetry was not written to be published but to help me survive physical and emotional pain. It helped me write my way out of darkness to the light at the end of the tunnel. Others may have had difficulty in finding that light. I hope sharing my journey will give hope to you on your own journey to light.
Mitch Garwolinski was seven when the Nazis invaded his village of Baranowo in the old country of Poland. Over the next six years, his experiences stretch far beyond what any of us might imagine one child could survive. Abducted from his family, he was starved, tortured, and left for dead three times. This is the remarkable story of how a young boy managed to work with the Underground. He escaped from terrible places of extreme degradation only to be incarcerated in even worse camps. Later in the war, he was even placed in the Nazi Experimental Hospital for children. Mitch's story is an authentic documentation of what happened in these most heinous facilities. Through a child's eyes and a man's indelible memories, the devastating impact of the Third Reich on Poland is exposed in the pages of Silent Screams of a Survivor. In war years that took six million Jewish lives in unthinkable atrocities, this book reveals how Poland and her people were also caught in the path of the Nazi war machine. Mitch's perspective is unique: his family was not Jewish, but Catholic. He was not a Polish citizen, but an American. History is starkly personal, a reality we don't always grasp through academic means. Here, the experiences of one family offer us a broader perspective on the evil of the Nazi regime. Would we be strong enough to survive? Would we risk our lives to help our Jewish friends? After turning these pages, you may never see the Holocaust in the same way. The book is a strong affirmation of the best of human beings. Instead of being sad, this true story exults in the commonality and will to survive that all humans have somewhere deep within them. In the final analysis, hope and freedom are more compelling than even depravity or suffering. Regardless of age, nationality, or religion, readers will treasure Silent Screams of a Survivor as a classic story that challenges all of us to think again about the critical importance of history and the lessons it dares us to embrace.
Saving the world takes the bravery of gods. The world loves heroes but misses acknowledging these officers who don't wear capes. Protecting and preserving the values of society is a burden, of which the enforcers are not rewarded enough. However, with lucid and compelling real-life stories, 'The Silent Screams' takes you through a journey of the reality of military, para-military, law enforcement service personnel and how they cope. Sometimes, veterans have to live and relive their old lives in their new realities away from the field. For many, they remain haunted by the trauma of the hazards they escape daily. Those deserving of reintegration are the ones who struggle to find therapy outside of their work, the ones who try so hard to flow seamlessly between work life and their home. This book aims at helping to understand the effect of PTSD on loved ones who face the terrors of the field daily, and lends insight into some practical ways to manage it.

“Her Silent Scream: Stories of Struggle and Strength” Written by Divya Kumari. In many societies, women continue to face significant challenges that hinder their rights and opportunities. The current situation for women is far from ideal, as they encounter numerous obstacles in their daily lives. Her Silent Scream: Stories of Struggle and Strength aims to give voice to these unspoken experiences, illuminating the resilience and tenacity of individuals who confront their challenges with unwavering courage. This book was born out of a deep-rooted passion for advocacy and a commitment to raising awareness about the struggles faced by women and marginalized communities. Through personal stories, narratives of triumph, and reflections on pain, I seek to honour the strength found within vulnerability. Each story serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity, there is an enduring spirit that thrives. I am profoundly grateful to Almighty God, who has given me the strength to complete this book. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to my parents, whose unwavering support has been instrumental during this journey. Lastly, I extend my gratitude to my publication house, especially to the founder, Deep Sir, whose guidance and assistance were invaluable in bringing this book to fruition.
