James Seale, (1773-1864), son of Thomas Seale, was born in Fairfield District, South Carolina. He married Rachel Kelly and was living in Georgia in 1791. He later moved to Alabama ca. 1818 where he died in Butler County. Descendants lived in Texas, Alabama and else- where. Also includes family of John Seale (1827-1914) who was born in Stock, County Essex, England who came to America in 1849 and settled in Grant County, Indiana, later moving to California. Includes several other Seale families.
