Root Awakening Poetry Book, by author Reneé Drummond-Brown, digs way down deep causing the author to wrestle within. Though the book lacks handsome colored flowers, and bears spines it plants a ray of faith, hope, and love in a concealed rainbow. Nonetheless, the readers tears coupled with seeded underground poems have deep spreading roots that branch out to feed arid regions. Root Awakening is urbane and seasoned for a time such as this...The poetic filaments and fiber invigorate the readers' mind's eye conveying nourishment to the soul like a sun in need of A Son, and A Son in need of His Father.

Poetry. Women's Studies. Art. Music. SISYPHUSINA is a cross-genre collection of prose, poetry, visual art, and improvisatory music, centered on female aging. Faced with linguistic and literary traditions that lack rich vocabularies to describe female aging, Shira Dentz uses the hybrid form as an attempt to suture new language that reflects internal and physical processes that constitute a shifting identity. By deviating from formal classical construction, and using the recurring image of a rose, SISYPHUSINA circles around conventions of beauty, questioning traditional aesthetic values of continuity, coherence, and symmetry. Some of the book's images are drawn from separate multimedia collaborations between the author and composer Pauline Oliveros, artist Kathy High, and artist Kathline Carr. A musical composition improvised by Pauline Oliveros, based on one of her text scores, titled "Aging Music," is the book's coda, and readers can listen to it online by scanning a QR code inside the book. The interweaving of these collaborations with the author's voice and voices from other sources imbue this book with a porous texture, and reimagines the boundary of the book as a membrane.

The Great Awakening is a global movement by which a corrupt power structure is being systematically dismantled. This is C J Swan's third book on the subject. Originally the plan was to write three books but now a fourth is being worked on. The author is guided by the conviction that poetry is a unique art form that can play a special role in helping others to understand the significance of these world-shattering events taking place in our lifetime. The forward contains nineteen extracts from the ""breadcrumbs"" given by Q (also known as Q Anon) who has been an inspiration to the writing. For those new to the subject, this will serve as an introduction to something that is very misunderstood in the world today. The poems were mostly written between March and August of 2019. These poems are a call to take up "arms" in a peaceful revolution to save the world from tyranny. Swan shows that we do not have to be American to fight in this revolution - we just have to believe in the redeeming power of Truth.

An Ancient Collection Reimagined Composed around the Buddha’s lifetime, the Therigatha (“Verses of the Elder Nuns”) contains the poems of the first Buddhist women: princesses and courtesans, tired wives of arranged marriages and the desperately in love, those born into limitless wealth and those born with nothing at all. The original authors of the Therigatha were women from every kind of background, but they all shared a deep-seated desire for awakening and liberation. In The First Free Women, Matty Weingast has reimagined this ancient collection and created a contemporary and radical adaptation that takes the essence of each poem and highlights the struggles and doubts, as well as the strength, perseverance, and profound compassion, embodied by these courageous women.

First Buddhist Women is a readable, contemporary translation of and commentary on the enlightenment verses of the first female disciples of the Buddha. The book explores Buddhism’s relatively liberal attitude towards women since its founding nearly 2,600 years ago, through the study of the Therigatham, the earliest know collection of women’s religious poetry. Through commentary and storytelling, author Susan Murcott traces the journey of the wives, mothers, teachers, courtesan, prostitutes, and wanderers who became leaders in the Buddhist community, roles that even today are rarely filled by women in other patriarchal religions. Their poetry beautifully expresses their search for spiritual attainment and their struggles in society.

A poetry collection that both illustrates what mindfulness is and encourages young, growing minds to be present, from poet and educator Georgia Heard, with art by Isabel Roxas. Poets have long observed the world in a mindful way. They point out beauty we might have missed, draw our attention to our inner thoughts, and call us to see our society in new ways. But as daily life become more and more chaotic, children grow distracted. According to the CDC, 9.4% of children have ADHD and 7% have anxiety/depression. And these numbers continue to climb. As treatment doctors recommend healthy eating, physical activity, plenty of sleep, and mindfulness techniques. Georgia Heard is a poet and educator—and she has long had her own meditation practice. In My Thoughts Are Clouds, she uses poetry to demonstrate what mindfulness is and gives kids—and their parents and teachers—accessible ways to learn mindfulness tools.

The Great Awakening is a global movement by which a corrupt power structure is being systematically dismantled. C J Swan has already written a first book of poems of the Great Awakening, and this is the second in what is expected to be a trilogy. As heroes of the takedown of the Deep State, reference is made to JFK, JFK Jr, Donald Trump and Q Anon. When the first of these poems was written, the victory of the forces of Light was still doubtful. Now, though many people are still sleeping, a major revolution is well underway, and the Power of the People is emerging victorious. As the final poem says, "They tried to bury us, not knowing we were seeds."
