DOWNLOAD EBOOK"The initial aim of the Study was to make an assessment of the ability of the Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker "Louis S. St-Laurent" to have transmitted the waterways between Peel Sound and Amundsen Gulf in each of the years from 1963 to 1977 during the autumn months of those years, and to estimate the latest date in each year such a trip would have been possible and estimate the length of time it would have taken.... In view of limitation of the available time for the study, and on funding, it was realized that it may not be possible for German & Milne to complete the analysis for all of the years mentioned above. Therefore, at customer request, the analysis was started with the most difficult years, in the following order of decreasing priority as stated in Appendix 2, i.e., 1967, 1969, 1972, 1977, 1965, 1974"--Leaf 2.
