The rate of construction progress 011 many projects was greater than had been anticipated. For example, the construction of Jackson Gulch Dam on the Mancos project in Colorado was scheduled for completion by April 1950 but was actually, completed in December 1948. 'by the end of the fiscal year, construction on O'sullivan Dam on the Columbai Basin project was virtually completed with only 62 percent of the contract time elapsed; thus completion was approximately 18 months earlier than was required by the contract.
