Biblical salvation covers more than just the regeneration of the human spirit. Many struggles in the lives of Christians can be traced to unfamiliarity with the doctrine of salvation. We will turn salvation over and look at the subject in all its fullness. God is only interested in complete salvation. In 1953 Hermann Buhl made the first ascent of Nanga Parbat - the ninth-highest mountain in the world, and the third 8,000-metre peak to be climbed, following Annapurna and Everest. Christian Pilgrimage in Modern Western Europe is a commanding exploration of the importance of religious shrines in modern Roman Catholicism.
