Jackson G. Majura graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam in the beginning of 1980. Since then, he has worked in various senior positions in the transport, wood processing, cement, and soda ash industries in Tanzania, South Africa, and Botswana. He is a professionally registered engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB), Tanzania. As part of his Executive Development Program, he has gone through a wide range of comprehensive honing programs in project analysis and management, finance, marketing, and strategic management, at home and abroad. During his career, he has worked extensively in projects, engineering maintenance, and plant management. He has successfully initiated and steered several greenfield projects, from feasibility study to final implementation and handing over. After taking an early retirement at the end of 2011, he cofounded JSC Global Services Co. Ltd. One of its core businesses is the preparation of feasibility studies for small to medium enterprises (SME) projects for entrepreneurs.
