DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from Proceedings of the Exercises and Conferences of the National Association for the Study and Education of Exceptional Children: Inaugurated Upon the Occasion of the Tenth Anniversary of the Groszmann School for Nervous and Atypical Children; April First, 1910 In this first series of conferences an attempt has been made to set forth clearly the nature and limits of the border land between normal and abnormal development and to show, why even precocity, in its pathological aspect, deserves care ful recognition and study. Most of the papers and discus sions are based upon the publications and the classification of children as issued by the N. A. S. E. E. Much in the same way as the latter formed the basis of the convention of the American Academy of Medicine at Atlantic City, in July, 1909. This cc-incides with similar view-points which were emphasized at the meeting of the Department of Super intendence of the National Education Association at Indian spolia, 1nd, in March of this year.
