John McHenry (1720-1801), son of Maurice and of Scottish ancestry, emigrated in 1739 from Ireland to New York, and married Susannah McNeil in 1750. They settled along the Hudson River at Lime Kiln, Orange County, New York. In 1773 the family moved (via New Jersey) to Northumberland County, Pennsynlvania. John McHenry and four of his sons served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Missouri and elsewhere.

The Middle Kingdom (ca. 2030–1650 B.C.) was a transformational period in ancient Egypt, during which older artistic conventions, cultural principles, religious beliefs, and political systems were revived and reimagined. Finally, the book discusses Middle Kingdom archaeological sites, including excavations undertaken by the Metropolitan Museum over a number of decades. John Sayer of Colchester, England died in 1509. His son, Richard, was born in Colchester in 1508 and married Anne Bourchier. He later settled in Amsterdam in 1537 where he died in 1540. Some descendants used the surname "Sears". Also includes a descendant, Richard Sayer, son of John Bourchier Sayer and Marie L. Egmond, who married Dorothy Thacher at Plymouth in 1632. He died in Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts in 1676.
