I am of the primordial chaos before the world's creation. Older than Ra himself. A component of those who constitute the Ogdoad. I am of the water, existing in a cold world. Until her. They call her Chaya. She has brought me light. She is my whole world. However, I am not hers for she lives for another. If I am to get her, I must acquire the deepest part of her heart. For I don't want a mere moment, nor the time of her mortal life. No, that is far too short. I want this enchantress for eternity. And when one is immortal, like I am, eternity is truly forever. Linc.
Hi, my name's Linc, and I'm an MMA fighter who’s in love with a porn star. Okay so maybe I'm not in love with Eve Kelly, but I'm completely freakin' obsessed with her, addicted even. Hell, I know that for years I've been using Eve as an escape from reality. Why? Because my heart was not only ripped out of my chest by my high school sweetheart, she crushed it into so many pieces that I still haven’t found them all. But now it’s high time I stop letting the past haunt me and a porn star own me. And how exactly am I gonna do that? By confronting my demons, or in this case one incredibly sexy demoness, I’ll finally be able to get my social life back. I didn’t consider the possibility that I could fall even harder for her. ~ Claire ~ I've never been as mortified as I am in this very moment. The spotlights are blinding me as I stand on stage in nothing but a white thong bikini, all because my little sister Mandy, aka the kinky porn star Eve Kelly, is at the moment passed out in a hotel room, high as a kite. Since she owes a loan shark more than thirty thousand dollars, I agreed to fill in for her tour appearance tonight at one of the local strip clubs. With only thirteen months between us, a few pounds, and slightly different shade of blue eyes, there’s nothing else preventing Mandy and I from passing as identical twins. In fact, the crowd of disgusting, perverted men doesn’t seem to have the slightest idea they’re actually being scammed. If I can just get through two hours of taking selfies with drunk bastards, I'll be able to go home, shower in Clorox, and get back to my normal life. Or at least that was the plan, until a gorgeous MMA fighter paid a shitload of money for Eve to give him a private lap dance.
Do you want to dance? With this one question, Erica Wallace and Todd "Linc" Lincoln will have their lives permanently altered. In her trio of friends, Erica is the responsible one. Painfully shy, and the son of a Baptist minister, Linc is an unlikely Marine. The moment their eyes meet, it's love at first sight. With Linc's imminent and lengthy deployment to Iraq threatening to end their blossoming romance, Linc makes Erica what seems like an impossible promise: if she'll marry him before he leaves, he'll come home alive. One week later, Linc is gone. During his absence, they trade a series of deeply personal letters as a way to bridge the distance between them. Along the way, they discover it's these letters that have laid the foundation of their relationship. When tragedy strikes, they'll find out if this is enough to save their marriage and their lives.
Welcome to Shadow Valley where the Dirty Angels MC rules. Get ready to get Down & Dirty because this is Linc’s story… For Linc, life was easy. But life’s about to change. The Dirty Angels MC is Linc’s life. The club his family. His lifesaver when he’d been drowning. Being a part of the club makes life easy for him. He wakes up, rolls out of bed, heads downstairs for grub, booze, women, whatever, before hitting the bar at night for work. But then there’s Jayde. A dark-haired, blue-eyed beauty, a college graduate and an aspiring attorney. The first time he’d seen her hips swaying through church, he couldn’t keep his eyes off her. Since then, they’ve circled each other for years. But Jayde deserves better than him, so he’s kept her at arm’s length. Linc has nothing to offer her, while she’s poised to take on the world. Not only that, she’s dangerous. Her father’s a cop. Her brother, too. Even worse, her oldest brother is the club president. And that’s the most dangerous of all. No matter how much he wants to touch her, smell her, taste her, make her his, he knows he’ll take his life into his own hands by doing so. Jayde’s torn between her family and the forbidden pull of both Linc and the DAMC. Will a mistake they make finish destroying the Jamisons? Or will it heal the long-time rift between the club and her family? Note: Down & Dirty: Linc is the ninth book in the Dirty Angels MC series. It’s highly recommended that you read this 10-book series in order. It has no cheating, no relationship cliffhanger and, as always, has an HEA. The beautiful historic town of Minden is tucked up in the pine-filled hills of northern Louisiana. Established by Charles Hanse Veeder in 1835, a third-generation German-American originally from upstate New York, Minden rapidly earned a reputation as a town of unique character, aided by the Minden Academy and the early introduction of the Methodist, Baptist, and Episcopalian religions. After Veeder left the town, the hearty settlers remained to foster Minden's growth and development. Although the seat of Webster Parish today, Minden has faced expansion fluctuations, caused by natural disaster and economic hardship, but followed by ambitious industrial endeavors and renewed hope. Minden thrived commercially, with economic gain centralized in Bayou Dorcheat, which was composed of separate landings acting as shipping points for goods coming from much of northern Louisiana. Industries like cotton farming and the Minden Lumber Mill, formed in 1901 as one of the largest mills in the United States at the time, caused the town's population to nearly double in just ten years. Under the leadership of great men like E.S. Richardson, Minden also became a model for other towns of similar size in the field of education. At the same time, disastrous fires, a catastrophic tornado, and the devastation of the steamboat trade on Bayou Dorcheat by the coming of the railroad challenged the community in the ever-changing twentieth century.
