"The Children's Book of London" by G. E. Mitton gives an interesting account of London and its social perceptions in the early years of the 20th century. While not as useful for today's children who are about to visit the city, it's an educational tool that can entertain and inform young readers about how things have changed, both physically, as well as socially. It's a charming read that both young readers and those who are young at heart will love.
