DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from Irish Economics, 1700 1783: A Bibliography With Notes Some doubt has been thrown on the authorship of the Essay on Eng lish Bubbles. It was accepted by Faulkner and is now generally ascribed to Swift.' I have never seen the separate original Imprint nor the original Dublin Edition of The Swearer's Bank. I think it is quite possible, that the Essay on Bubbles may have never been published separately but only as an introduction to The Swearer's Bank.
