The 'Publication Index and Retrieval System' is designed to facilitate dissemination of the information contained in the more than 200 reports resulting from the Dredged Material Research Program (DMRP) and to foster operational applications of their findings and conclusions. Chapter 1 contains abstracts of the DMRP Synthesis Reports, which present summaries of findings for each of the major DMRP objectives with emphasis on the significance and application of the information. Chapters 2-9 contain abstracts for each of the detailed reports; the abstracts are identified under the major DMRP objectives. Chapter 10 contains the abstracts of the reports on the field tests and demonstration projects concerned with the effects of dredged material disposal in open water and the use of dredged material for habitat creation.
