Included are the prose poem Standing Beside You in the Rain, a previously unpublished account of a boy at the bus stop with his parents waiting for the last bus home; Michael a short story where our main protagonist deals with the sight of his mother upset on his bed, with God dressed as a pimp coming to his aid; and Box of Kittens where the notion that all secrets, good or bad, come in boxes. Within these pages, we find it is not necessarily the world outside where the shotgun is being pointed but often it is us holding it at ourselves.
