This is, first and foremost, a book about private animal rescue. The stories are true. As a result, these pages are filled with sadness and joy, loss and hope, heartbreak and compassion. When Abigail Stone visited the local historical museum she wandered into an area being renovated for a new permanent exhibit. The volunteer working there told her that the brick wall she was examining had once been the outer wall of the museum. It had been covered when an addition to the museum was added in 1948. Immediately before each sentence is spoken, you will hear the translation, so you will always understand what is being said. Unit 2 focuses solely on increasing your listening ability, which will improve your abilities to engage in dialogue with a native Arabic speaker. This chapter requires you to listen very carefully to nuances in the language. By Unit 3 you will already notice progress in your abilities to speak and understand Arabic.
