Paraconsistent logics are logics which allow solid deductive reasoning under contradictions by offering a mathematical and philosophical support to contradictory yet non-trivial theories. A logic is called 'paraconsistent' if it rejects the rule called 'ex contradictione quodlibet', according to which any conclusion follows from inconsistent premises.
