The proposed project, located in northwest Sioux City, consists of reconstructing West 23rd Street from west of Silver Street to west of Geneva Street. The project is approximately 621 feet long and includes a new bridge over Perry Creek at West 23rd Street. The project is located on the northwest side of the City of Sioux City, Iowa. It passes through residential and recreational areas, and crosses over Perry Creek. The bridge will replace a previously existing bridge that was removed with the Perry Creek reconstruction project, which was a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) flood control project.
