DOWNLOAD EBOOKFerrari 308, 328 and 348 traces the complete story of the four models of Ferrari's V8-powered sports cars between 1973 and 1995 - the cars that broke Ferrari out of the V6 and V12 moulds, with the V8 becoming Ferrari's most popular engine choice in the final decade of the twentieth century. The book covers the history and development of Ferrari's new V8 engine, and the 308's daunting role as successor to the popular Dino. There are specification tables and production figures for the model variants, along with details of concept cars and other related models, and a review of competition exploits. The book also considers the cars' current position in the classic car market and offers insight into the rewarding ownership experience each of the models now represents. The book covers: design processes and styling by Bertone and Pininfarina; concept cars and rivals; the cars in competition; owning and running the cars today. With a guide through the entire lifespan of these exciting V8-powered sports cars and superbly illustrated with 295 colour photographs, this is essential reading for the Ferrari aficionado.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe 308 GT4 was a replacement for the original 246 series Dino. It wore the Dino badges and it shared the 246's transverse mid-engined layout. It was a 2+2 rather than an uncompromising two seater, and it broke new ground in having a body styled by Bertone. Sales were steady but not spectacular. The Dino badging was dropped in May 1976 and production began to trail off during 1978 - the last one was built in January 1980. The Mondial didn't fare very well - it was a heavier car and a disappointment to Ferrari fans and only survived until 1982. However, the Mondial Quattravalvole showed that Modena had got the formula right this time and when a gorgeous cabriolet version joined the original coupe in 1984, sales practically doubled overnight. There are plenty of Ferrari enthusiasts who number the models in this book among their most coveted cars, and they will find plenty to feed their passion on its pages.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis book tells the story of the cars which used the 3.2-litre and 3.4-litre editions of Ferrari's twin-overhead-camshaft V8 engine. Basically there were three ranges, the GTB/GTS models, their tb/ts replacements and the four-seater Mondial. The GT models appeared in the mid-seventies, re-engined in 1985 and continued until 1988. The 348 tb targa-top cars replaced them. The Mondial was equipped with the V8 in 1985 which it retained until 1989 when it was re-engineered to take the 3.4-litre engine. This is a book of contemporary road and comparison tests, specification and technical data, driver's impressions, model introductions and background. Models covered include: 328 GTS, 3.2 Mondial, 328 GTB, 3.2 QV Mondial, 348tb, Mondial t, Cabriolet, 348ts, F40.
