Hart concerns Flood's manuscript of Earp's reminiscences. (Originals are in the William S. Hart Papers, Seaver Center, Natural History Museum, Los Angeles, Calif.) There are three original documents; two relate to Virgil Earp as Tombstone Chief of Police concerning application of W.P. Shrewsbury for a writ of habeas corpus. The other is a affadavit by James Earp that he saw John Ringo, an escaped prisoner in January 1882. There is also a 1971 transcript "Earp! A Musical Play in Two Acts" by Norman Fedder.
