This text is a work of devotion, an offering of a kind, to the Dark Mother. I have long adored Lilith but have only recently begun my journey as her devotee and I created this book, as I did also with Verses of the Void as a way of honouring our glorious Dark Mother with poetry. It is the hope of this author that the devotee of Lilith who reads collection of devotional poetry will be inspired.

"A novel in which a mystic named El Rami, a practitioner of the arts of healing drawn from the occult science of the ancient Egyptians, attempts to control and dominate the soul of a dead girl. El Rami travels from London to Syria where he meets a caravan in the desert with two ailing women in need of care and attention. He agrees to help, and he restores one, an old women, to health. The other, a young orphan girl called Lilith, succumbs to her illness and dies. El Rami practices his mysterious arts on Lilith in an attempt to demonstrate the existence of life after death. He administers an elixir that brings her body back to life, and returns to London with the breathing corpse of Lilith. He hides her in a room in his mansion for six years, and summoning all his powers succeeds in being able to summon her soul back to her body at will. The head of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross of which El Rami was a member, Heliobas, arrives. Readers know him from The Romance of Two Worlds and Ardath. Heliobas is alarmed by El Rami's experiments, and tells him that he must release the girl and allow her to die. But El Rami is obsessed with the beautiful Lilith, and intends on making her his soulmate. Despite Lilith's pleas and warnings, as El Rami kisses her she crumbles to ashes in from of him. When El Rami recovers himself, he is taken to the Brotherhood's monastery in Cyprus, a mental wreck."--Synopsis from MarieCorelli.org.uk

Growing up in an Italian-American Roman Catholic home, the author longed for a prayer book like the missal she used as a child, dedicated to the virgin mother. That yearning created this prayer book, dedicated only to the goddesses known to the Italian world in ancient and in modern times.

Goddess? Demon? First woman? Feminist icon? Who-or what-is Lilith? For centuries, She has haunted the edges of civilization. In the 21st century, She seems to be asserting Herself more adamantly than ever. Has She been calling you? For the first time, this volume combines historical, practical, and devotional material on Lilith. It gives an overview of Her presence in the writings, lore, and imaginations of a variety of cultures from ancient Sumerian to present day vampirism. It provides an introduction to forming a personal and working relationship with Lilith as a living and vibrant entity, including correspondences, lessons, offerings, and a basic ritual. Most importantly, it serves as the first collection of devotional writing for and about Lilith. Contributed by writers around the globe, these poems, prayers, and essays give insights into the mysteries of this elusive and often misunderstood figure by those who already know and love Her.

The women of Torah grew up at a time when gender roles were rigidly defined and girls were considered women at an early age. Still, the Torah hints that young biblical women faced challenges similar to those that teenagers encounter today: first loves, burgeoning identities, developing sexualities, and blossoming spirituality. Building on textual sources, Deborah Bodin Cohen has created a collection of midrashim about the teen years of 10 women in Genesis that will resonate with 21st-century readers. Lilith's Ark melds text, biblical commentaries, and historic details about the ancient world with the experiences of modern girls and women and the author's own imagination. A discussion guide for each story enriches the reading experience. This is a book that will speak across time to the anxieties and aspirations of today's growing girls.

A companion volume to Anderson's award-winning first book of poetry, Thorns of the Blood Rose, these poems were selected by the author before his death to be contained in the present collection. Picking up where the first book left off, the poems explore themes of love, death, the beauty of the natural world, and devotions to the Goddess and God in their many guises. Some of the poems which were deemed too scandalous for inclusion in the previous work are published here for the first time.
