DOWNLOAD EBOOK"This design thesis focuses on using sustainable design principles in order to create a natural and cultural landscape. The purpose is the creation of a master plan for the establishment of a community park located in Volant, Pennsylvania. Results from existing conditions, surveys, site and cultural analysis, citizen surveys and a preliminary master plan will be incorporated in the final master plan and Phase I construction documents. The design thesis will also focus on the process of creating such a plan under the guidelines set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (PADCNR) C2P2 grant program for the construction and maintenance of a community park." -- Abstract.
