DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis book deals with the fundamentals of Horoscope matching. Today "Horoscope matching" has become the indispensable part of Hindu marriage. But it has not been mentioned in any old Jataka scripture of Astrology. However, it has been described in the Muhurta scriptures of the same. In Ramayan, marriage of Rama, Bharata, Lakshmana and Shatrughna has been described elaborately. But, in this great epic also Horoscope matching has not been mentioned. Likewise, in Mahabharata, too, it has not been cited. Therefore, it can be said that Horoscope matching in Astrology was not in practice a few centuries ago. But, the community accepted and made it an indispensable part keeping its usefulness in view. Different systems of Horoscope matching are in practice in different parts of India. In North India, Ashtakuta matching is in practice whereas in South Dasakuta matching is in fashion. But Ashtakuta matching is in vogue in most part of India. This is why the All India Federation of Astrologers’ Societies has accepted and prescribed this system of Ashtakuta matching for the courses of its students. The book has been written keeping in view the courses introduced by the All India Federation of Astrologers’ Societies, Delhi. The students are advised to study “Kundali Milana-Sukhi Dampatya Jeevana Ka Adhar” because prediction of a happy married life cannot be made by Ashtakuta matching only. This shows only the amity, love and mutual understanding between the two. But to determine the age, health and ups and downs in life of the couple some other aspects such as Period-sub-period, Dosha Samya etc. are also essential to be analyzed. An analysis of long conjugal life is essential for its stability. So, apart from Ashtakuta matching, we should keep in view other aspects also. To know all this, “Kundali Milan – Sukhi Dampatya Jeevana Ka Adhara” is prescribed.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKNo religion ever remains static: it affects and is in turn affected by material reality. In this book, Sharma examines the contours of this creative tension in contemporary Hinduism. Sharma attempts to raise self-awareness of this dimension of Hinduism to an unprecedented level. In this way, he hopes, that in the context of modernization and globalization, Hindus will be able to make conscious choices that will keep their religion at the cutting edge of the contemporary world instead of the periphery.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKIn Vedic astrology, the associations the planets form or variations of how they are placed in a horoscope are referred to as yogas. Yoga literally means union or that which adds, joins or yokes. Astrologically, Yoga refers to planetary combinations or configurations and their special results, which affect the life of an individual. In traditional Indian ephemeris, known as Panchang, Yoga is also a particular division of time, arrived at by adding longitudes of the Sun and the Moon at birth. These are 27 in number, starting from Viskumbha to Vaidhriti, each governed by a different constellation or lunar-mansion, which are also 27 in number. In spiritual field, the word “Yoga” means training, taming and stimulating the body and mind with universal soul. In Ayurveda, the yoga of two or more medicines gives specific results. Yogas are one of the unique features of Vedic astrology. There are hundreds of yogas mentioned in various classical texts. Most of the yogas are formed of more than one planet, but all combinations do not mean a yoga formation. The idea behind these yogas is to equate the planets’ strength in a chart, and how & when they will produce their effects in a native’s life.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe mysteries of the fifth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam have long puzzled students of Vedic cosmography and astronomy. Confronted with a description of the universe that seems much at variance with the information provided by our senses and standard astronomical calculations, foreign observers and even Indian commentators from the middle ages up to the present have concluded that the Bhagavatam`s account elaborated in other Puranas must be mythological. On the other hand the same persons have been much impressed with vedic astronomical treatises the jyotisasastras which provide remarkably accurate measurements of the solar system.
