After this, compression symp toms, which had come on gradually with the temperature, began to vanish and his general health improved so that he was soon out of bed and able to leave the hos pital. His left side, however, continued weak and he could not approximate thumb and fingers of his left hand norm ally. There was numbness of these or gans, and starting in them, came a pe culiar, light, airy feeling which swept through his whole body, culminating in fits of unconsciousness, during which his friends said he convulsed violently. He came under my service at Emergency August 1, 1903. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
