Excerpt from Nebraska Society of the Sons of the American Revolution: Constitution, by-Laws, Officers, Membership, 1896 This Constitution may be amended or repealed, provided written resolutions to that effect are first presented to, and approved by, a ma jority of the Board of Managers present at any meeting of said Board; and provided, said amendments are subsequently approved by two thirds of the members present at any meeting of the Society; and provided further, that whenever this Constitution is to be amended, re pealed or in any way changed, notice thereof, specifying said changes in full, shall be sent to each member of the Society at least thirty days before such action is to be taken.
