The 2006 Census Dictionary provides definitions for all the concepts, variables and geographic terms of the 2006 Census. The dictionary is divided up into five sections. The first four are "universes", and are divided up by subject variables. These four areas are: population, which provides information such as demography, language, mobility, immigration, education, labour force activity and income; family, regarding families and the relationships between household members, both census and economic families; household, regarding the characteristics of a person or a group of persons occupying a private dwelling; and dwelling, describing the characteristics of dwelling units themselves. The fifth section provides information on the geographic terms used in the Census. Information is listed alphabetically within each section for access.--Includes text from document.

The Coverage Technical Report will present the error included in census data that results from persons missed by the 2006 Census or persons enumerated in error. Population coverage errors are one of the most important types of error because they affect not only the accuracy of population counts but also the accuracy of all of the census data describing characteristics of the population universe.
