Jesse Slaughter (b.ca.1763) married Mary (Polly) Rollins about 1800 in Virginia, and in 1850 were living in Jackson County, Virginia (later West Virginia). John M. Price and his wife, Nici, moved from North Carolina to Clinton County, Ohio, where they were living in 1850. These are the earliest paternal-line ancestors located thusfar for the authors.
