John Stevens (d.1670) and his brother, Thomas, emigrated before 1646 from Kent County, England to Guilford, Connecticut, and moved to Killingworth (to that part of town that later became Clinton), Connecticut about 1665/1666. Descendants and relatives of John and his wife Mary (as listed in this book) lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere.
