DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from Amendment of the Federal Tort Claims Act: Hearings Before the Subcommittee on Administrative Law and Governmental Relations of the Committee on the Judiciary, House of Representatives, Ninety-Sixth Congress, First Session on Reform of the Federal Tort Claims Act All of the specific exclusive defendant provisions, now scattered throughout the United States Code, would be repealed by section 6 of the bill so that all employee immunity provisions would now be found in the Tort Claims Act. Section 7 of the bill would amend the civil liability provision of the wiretap statute, 18 u.s.o. 2520, to exclude actions which would be brought under the amended Tort Claims Act. Our sensitivity to the fact that Congress has recently enacted several specific civil liability provisions 25 has caused us to limit any con forming amendments to the wiretap statute.
