The use of social networking sites (SNS) has been adopted by and integrated into the daily lives of an increasing number of adolescents. Young people are amongst the most prolific and substantial users. This study discusses a number of issues related to the use of social media and social networking sites, such as: Why do such masses of young people use such sites?
