DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe 2020 AASA Decennial Study of the Superintendent is an extension of national decennial studies of the American school superintendent that began in 1923. The research was conducted in late 2019 and early 2020. The results are presented in various ways throughout the study, ranging from aggregate findings to two and three level crosstabs that disaggregate data by eight different enrollment categories. Just as findings from previous decennial studies suggested, the various job-related happenings of superintendents are not always homogeneous. They can be influenced by a multitude of factors such as district enrollment, demographic characteristics of the superintendents, and characteristics of the students and communities they serve.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKAll students have access to social and general education resources, and schools strive to place students, including those with special needs, in the least restrictive classrooms. However, many instructors lack the training to effectively teach special needs students, despite their presence in mainstream schools and a desire to support them. A study conducted at the Asha Deep Rehabilitation Centre for Divyangjan in Patna explored special education facilities. It examined the center’s history, vision, mission, goals, curriculum, co-curricular activities, life skills training, vocational training, outcomes, and the admission and retention of children. Additionally, the book includes information on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, of 2016, the RPWD Rules of 2017, and the Amendment Rules of 2019, 2020, and 2023, highlighting India's legal rights for the disabled.
